Terms of use

Draft, last updated 14 October 2026

This is a first draft. A lawyer will check it before real launch. Notes in square brackets show what still needs checking.

These are the rules for using Yadii, written to be read. Please read them before you start. If you use Yadii, you agree to them.

Who can use Yadii

Yadii is for adults. You can use it if you are 18 or older. If you are 16 or 17, you can use it only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms with you. [Lawyer: confirm the minimum age and the rule for minors under Israeli contract law]

Yadii is made for people in Israel. For now, prices are in shekels and items travel inside Israel.

Your account

You can sign in with an email and password, or with Apple or Google. Give us true details and keep them up to date. One person, one account.

Keep your password and your email codes to yourself. Yadii will never ask you for them in a chat. You are responsible for what happens in your account, so tell us quickly if you think someone else got in.

You can close your account any time in Settings. While you have an open order, you need to finish it first.

Practice mode: what is real today

Yadii is in practice mode. Please read this part carefully.

  • No real money moves. Checkout, payments, your balance and withdrawals are simulated. Nobody is charged and nobody is paid.
  • Shipping is simulated too. No courier collects or delivers anything yet.
  • Boosts are free for now.
  • The fees you see (for example the Coverage fee) are placeholders. They show how Yadii will work and may change before real payments start.

Do not send real money or items because of something you saw in Yadii. We will tell you clearly, in the app and on the website, on the day real payments start. [Lawyer: confirm wording for a practice service, and whether a notice is needed when it goes live]

Selling on Yadii

When you list an item, you promise that:

  • It is yours to sell, and nobody else has a claim on it.
  • Your description is honest. Say what the item really is, its condition, any flaws, its size and its brand.
  • The photos are real photos of the exact item you are selling, taken by you. Do not use pictures from other places.
  • You will keep the item for the buyer while the listing is active, and send it on time once it is sold.
  • You will follow the law, including tax rules that apply to you. [Lawyer: confirm what we should say about tax and about sellers who sell as a business]

If you use the photo helper, a computer program reads your listing photos to suggest a category and details. You can change every suggestion. You are still responsible for what you publish.

What you cannot sell

You cannot list any of these on Yadii:

  • Fake or copied items that pretend to be a brand, and items you are not allowed to sell.
  • Weapons, ammunition, knives made for fighting, and anything made to hurt people.
  • Alcohol, tobacco, vapes, drugs and anything related to them.
  • Used underwear, used swimwear without a lining, and other used items that are unhygienic.
  • Live animals and animal products that are protected by law.
  • Stolen goods, and items that are recalled for safety.
  • Medicines, medical devices and cosmetics that were opened or are past their date.
  • Digital items, vouchers, gift cards and tickets.
  • Anything that is illegal in Israel, hateful, or sexual in nature.
  • Services, jobs, and listings that ask people to leave Yadii to pay or to chat.

We may add to this list when we learn something new. If you are not sure, ask us before you list. [Lawyer: confirm the list against Israeli law, including rules for children's items and second-hand electrical goods]

Buying, offers and reservations

You can buy an item at its price, make an offer, or add several items from one seller into a bundle. An offer is a promise: if the seller accepts it, you are expected to buy the item. Offers run out after a set time, and there is a daily limit on how many you can send.

When you start checkout, the item is held for you for a short time so that nobody else buys it. If you do not finish, it goes back on sale. A seller can also reserve an item for one person for a short time.

In practice mode, all of this works in the same way but no money is charged.

Coverage, the buyer promise

Coverage is the name of Yadii's promise to buyers. When real payments start, the idea is this: the money you pay is held, and the seller is paid only after you receive the item. If the item is not as described, you can open a dispute within 2 days of it arriving, and we look at it. If you are right, you get your money back.

Coverage adds a fee, today a placeholder of 5 percent, which the buyer pays. The exact rules, what is covered and what is not, and the timing will be written here before real payments start. [Lawyer: confirm the final Coverage terms, the fee, and how payments are held, including any licence needed to hold customer money]

Reviews

After an order, the buyer and the seller can rate each other. Reviews must be honest, based on your own experience of that order, and polite.

Do not write reviews for your own items, trade reviews, or promise a review in return for something. We may remove reviews that break these rules or the rules on conduct below. If no one reviews an order after a few days, Yadii may add a default review. [Lawyer: confirm the automatic review rule]

How to behave

Be kind. Do not harass, threaten, scam, spam, or share other people's private details. Do not use Yadii to move a deal outside the app. Do not try to break the service, copy it in bulk, or get around its limits.

You can block someone at any time.

Reports and removal

If you see a listing, message, review or person that breaks these terms, report it from the app or the website. We look at reports and may remove content, warn a person, or close an account. We do not promise to review everything, or to respond within a set time. [Lawyer: confirm our duties for reports of illegal content and for notices from rights holders]

If we remove something of yours, we will usually tell you why. You can write to us if you think we made a mistake.

When we can suspend an account

We can limit, suspend or close an account, or remove a listing, if you break these terms, if we think someone is at risk, if we suspect fraud, or if the law requires it. For serious breaches we may act without notice. If we close your account, open orders will be handled so that other people are treated fairly.

Our responsibility

Yadii is a place where people meet to sell to each other. The sale is between the buyer and the seller. We do not own the items and we do not check each one, so we cannot promise that every listing is accurate or safe.

We work hard to keep the service running, but it may be interrupted, and this is a practice service that is still being built. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect loss, or for what other users do. Nothing here limits rights that the law does not allow us to limit. [Lawyer: confirm the limits of liability, the disclaimer wording, and consumer law rules]

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when real payments start. When the change matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before it starts. If you keep using Yadii after that, you agree to the new terms. If you do not agree, you can close your account.

Israeli law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Courts in Israel have the authority to decide disputes. [Lawyer: choose and confirm the district for the courts, and whether consumer rights give people a different place to sue]
